I had the pleasure of attending the play Rags to Riches and I must say that from the
cocktail hour to curtain call the total experience was electrifying!
The play was a mixture of upbeat urban musical topped off with contemporary blues.
This was not only a Play but a look back into a historical moment in black history. The play
was well documented and the characters , scenery , clothes worn, and music had you
feeling as ifyou were living in that moment of time
Overall I enjoyed the play that left me wanting to see more. .
Regina Abraham The writer did an excellent job of bringing the life story of Lillian Harris
Dean “Pig Foot Mary” to the stage.
