The Chitlin Circuit was not only know for Plays and Music. The Chitlin Circuit was known for Comedy. People such as Red Fox (Best know as Fred Sanford in Sanford and Son) Also Rudy Ray Moore (Dolemite) Know for his Comedy Dolemite (Signified Monkey) Also Lawanda Page Who was known as “The Queen Of Comedy” On of most famous stand up performance was “Son Pipe Laying Dan” Many people know Lawanda Page from the television show Sanford and Son as Sanford sister in law “Aunt Easter”
